Our Story
In an era defined by daily data breaches, automated credential stuffing attacks, and GPU-powered rainbow table cracking, personal password security is the first line of defense protecting our digital identities. Yet, millions of internet users still rely on dangerous, easily guessable passwords or recycle the same credentials across critical banking, email, and social accounts.
SuggestMeBuddy was created to solve this fundamental challenge. We set out to build a modern, high-performance, and completely zero-knowledge cryptographic password generator that removes the friction from creating truly unbreakable credentials.
Our Core Mission
100% Client-Side Privacy
Zero passwords, passphrases, or cryptographic keys are ever transmitted across networks or stored on our servers.
Cryptographic Entropy
We use browser-level CSPRNG (crypto.getRandomValues) to ensure mathematically certified unpredictability.
NIST & IPA Aligned
Our architecture follows modern guidelines (NIST SP 800-63B), prioritizing length and entropy over arbitrary complexity.
Free & Universal
Free for individual users, IT administrators, and security professionals with no subscriptions or trackers.
Zero-Knowledge Technical Architecture
SuggestMeBuddy operates on a strict zero-trust model:
- Generation via W3C Web Cryptography API directly inside your browser memory.
- No backend database, session tracking, or remote key storage.
- Complete offline operation capabilities without network connection.
- Volatile memory cleanup automatically upon closing the browser tab.
Open Commitment to Security
Digital security is built on transparency. SuggestMeBuddy adheres strictly to public cryptographic standards and open-source wordlists such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) Diceware lists.
